About me
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Fitness Management from Augustana University in 2002, followed by my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in 2007. Since then, I have worked in diverse outpatient physical therapy settings between the cities of Chicago and Denver, anything from worker's compensation, sports medicine, hospital-based, traditional outpatient private practice, to now my own mobile practice. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, plants, and being an aunt.
My approach to care
My mobile practice brings the outpatient clinic experience to you, whether for the luxury/convenience, or the need. Whether recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, seeking strategies for prevention, or simply wanting a more healthy and active lifestyle, my mission is to empower patients with the tools to help themselves, decrease the risk and burdens that occur in the aging and chronic disease populations, and guide patients along their journey to bettering themselves.
What my clients can expect from our first session together
All of our sessions are 45-75 minutes, which allows me to provide a thorough history, assessment, and treatment, without feeling rushed. I can take the time to listen, make sure you feel understood, and meet you where you are at, in all ways, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and literally. My goal is to provide the care you desire and deserve. Together we create a care plan that works best for you and your goals
How I see patients
Mobile Health: Traveling to patients at various locations, such as homes, gyms, or offices.
Telehealth: Providing virtual care via video calls for remote consultations and follow-ups.
