About me

I'm Canadian born and have lived and worked as a Physical Therapist around the world. My travels have allowed me to compete as a Karate-Do practitioner around the world and now my children's athletics take us around the world. I have a passion and game plan for treating injuries and ailments for those with busy lifestyles or who prefer to have their therapy on their own terms.

My approach to care

Work with the client to determine the optimal treatment approach to fit into their lives and schedules. Active listening to determine if there are habits or actions that could have contributed to the injury which need to be addressed for prevention. Introduce strategies to minimize pain, discomfort, dizziness, or imbalances that are realistic for each client. An overall positive and relaxed interaction that also implements an agreed plan of care.

What my clients can expect from our first session together

We will review the relevant information about your injury or episode which may include medical records or tests. I will dial you in on questions about your pain, discomfort, dizziness etc, as well as take you through movements and some tests. Just as important, is understating what your daily life entails as far as activity level, occupation, and accessibility to therapy to tailor to your needs. We should leave the first session with an understanding of the chief complaint, education regarding how physical therapy can intervene, and an agreed plan of care to get things started.
